TONIGHT at UNCLE SAMs

TONIGHT...Well, our ol' friend...KEVIN CHRISTIANSON/drums needs a cool bass man for tonight...AND, he got it!...Called BARTLETT in for a gig tonight @ you guessed it...UNCLE SAMs BAR AND GRILL in Spanaway, 9 pm til closing.....16003 Pacific Ave.
We never know what's gonna happen at Kevin's gigs...BUT, it's always exciting for sure! Come on down and see for yourself.
Remember, Dolly's back from vacation....so, there's all that good eatin'...yum..and cold beer too. Charlie on sound. A cool fire pit in back by the amphitheater, that's so romanic under those beautiful stars....just right for getting a kiss or 2 from your special Sweetheart. Jan

What's 'Joe-Joes And the Steves'? You know, it's BARTLETT ON BASS Jazz Jam next Monday Night @ UNCLE SAMs BAR AND GRILL in Spanaway....16003 Pacific Ave.
Yeah, there's another 'Joe' being added to this already very cool line up of musicians for Monday Night, at UNCLE SAMs, making it 'Joe-Joes and the Steves'. Jan
O.K., that's what I posted on FACEBOOK....And, now I will fill in the blanks.O.K
JOE CONTRIS/guitar is the new Joe that'll be at UNCLE SAMs this coming Monday night. Steve and Joe really hit it off last month at the SHADDOW gig [ go HERE] at THE BEN MOORE in Olympia. They were a great team and admired each others playing. Now, they get to team up again with the awesome guitarist...JOSEPH PLEMMON and STEPHEN PARTON.drums.. It's gonna be a great night...I just know it!..
Not only is Dolly' behind the bar and cooking up delicious food BUT, Charlie's doing sound. Steve had some exciting work done on his UPRIGHT BASS, and he'll be bringing his electric and maybe his fretess bass..Bring his REAL BOOK.ready for anything.
Yes, there's an amphitheater behind the bar and under the stars....the night's are getting warmer and inviting. I know camping is just around the corner...can't wait. Jan

Remember Monday Nights for BARTLETT ON BASS Jazz Jam @ UNCLE SAMs

Remember, BARTLETT ON BASS Jazz Jam each Monday night...O.K? This week, with JOSEPH PLEMMONS/guitar filling in for DENNY FOREMAN/guitar.
It's all happening at UNCLE SAMs BAR AND GRILL...16003 Pacific Ave. in Spanaway. Start time 7 pm. gos til 10ish or so.
STEPHEN PARTON/drums and STEVE BARTLETT/bass will be hosting this event this week with the help of PLEMMONS...cool!
Dolly's back from vacation, so we all know the chow's great....with lotsa cold beer or whatever to wash it all down.
Charlie's on sound...and, I'm on Dolly's delicious chicken wings dinner!
The fire pit in the back will be on fire, of course, where lotsa the cool people hang out...but, not all...'cause many of the cool guys will be at MY table ( 'NO! You can't have any of MY chicken wings.'...'now, go check out the fire pit and see if it's O.K.....it's right next to that amphitheater...you can't miss it.'). SMILE. Jan

SASS @ ROCK THE DOCK Tonight...Were You Invited? Come on Down and See...

TONIGHT SASS @ ROCK THE DOCK , 535 Dock Street In Tacoma. Starts at 9 pm.
This is a very cool event, of course, with Ms. SHELLY ELY/vocals just belting it out with gusto! You know that she's the BLUZZZ queen of this universe, don't you? Well, she is!
That guitar guy with her...STEVE MERRIAM is just as cool. He writes alotta tunes. On the drums...it's ANDRE THOMAS. He sings too...wait til ya hear what he and Shell rehearsed a few days ago....WOW!
AND, the funki-est bass man ever....my hubby (but folks, he really IS the best, and I'd say that even if I wasn't his, you know, family).....STEVE BARTLETT/bass.
There's an invitational jam, starting at 10 pm, and other really cool stuff. Tony's on keys tonight. Big dance floor, cold beer, pretty waitresses. I'll be there. WOW again. Smile. Jan

TONIGHT,Saturday, April 9th @ UNCLE THURMs FINGER LICKIN RIBs and CHICKEN...... SASS starts @ 8, gos til 11 ADDRESS: 3709 'G' Street, Tacoma, WA..
Look at those ribs will ya? Chicken, Cat Fish too. Lotsa Delicious food. See?....,AND, awesome music, just look at those musicians will ya? That bass guy's especially cute, ain't he?...Well, they'll all be there tonight....food and musicians. WOW!
The girl's...the one and only, Ms. SHELLY ELY/really good vocals...boy, can she belt it out....she's sass-y and tough too....all in a nice way, of course. The guitar/vocalist guy is STEVE MERRIAM...he writes cool tunes too. The drummer is...'ah'....a good one...ANDRE THOMAS...maybe. 'Cause Andre's in the middle of moving back to Tacoma from Seattle...we'll see if Andre's on drums tonight. Anyway, for sure....STEVE BARTLETT's on bass/vocals tonight. Me too....I'm on joy, listening and eating lotsa THURMs chow...yum Jan

My Spelling?? Thanks For Understanding...Whoops!....I'm Doing the Best As I Can

I haveave to look at the keyboard, NOT the screen...to see where ALL those letters are, and my nect won't bend or turn...whoops, that's NECK, not 'nect'. Well, yesterday I realized folks just don't realize how difficult it is for me to do my posts.....sometimes they expect perfection....'O.K. Expect on, Folks'....that's O.K., I can do what can do do...it's.always that's the best I can do....and most of my posts take several hours to complete. I do it all for FREE, 'cause I love my husband, support his music and love what he does.

FACEBOOK takes 8 or 9 hours a day....ALL by itself....then, BARTLETT ON BASS Dot Com on top of it all. I see that I'm falling behind a little...Oh well....Forgive me....O.K?
Now, what's happening with music? BARTLETT ON BASS Jazz Jam is happening tonight at UNCLE SAMs in Spanaway, WA. Starts at 7 pm. ADDRESS: 16003 Pacific Ave. it's tonight and every Monday night.
DENNY FOREMAN/guitar and STEPHEN PARTON/drums with my STEVE BARTLETT/bass will be hosting this event. Charlie's on sound, Dolly's behind the bar and cooking delicious stuff in the kitchen...thanks Charlie and Dolly.
This Saturday, April 9th....SASS is at UNCLE THURMs SOUL FOOD in Tacoma, WA.....also known as UNCLE THURMs FINGER LICKIN RIBs AND CHICKEN. ADDRESS;3709 'G' Street....cool! Starts 'round 8 pm. This the BLUZZ-i-est of the BLUZZY kinda stuff. If that's your bag...be there. O.K.
Heading up this group of musicians is the BLUZZZ Queen of this Universe..with Ms.SHELLY ELY/vocals, with STEVE MERRIAM/guitar/vocals as her right hand man, probably ANDRE THOMAS on drums....but??, looks like I'll know on Saturday. Come down and see for yourself...O.K? Of course, STEVE BARTLETT will be bass and vocals, that we know for sure.
Food at UNCLE THURMs is always the best! So, come early and hungry. Jan
