SASS And JERRY MILLER...ALL in One Night? Yep, yesterday was really cool. Steve had an always fun SASS rehearsal with SHELLY ELY/vocals....AND, I mean....really now...that gal can sing the BLUZZZ and anything else she wants for that matter.... And, one of those amazing SASS guys STEVE MERRIAM/guitar/vocals AND yes, writing cool tune after cool tune ( he never stops) guy. DEBI LAWRENCE was there too..she takes lotta wonderful cool photos of SASS, and other gigs that Steve Merriam plays in. She has a neat site on FACEBOOK, check her out. WOW...I had a great time...always do...being honored and feeling soooo special by being allowed to there at their rehearsals. THEN, can it get any better than that?...well, I didn't think so....BUT...wait a minute, the night got even better....'WOW....how's that Jan?' We stopped at UNCLE SAMs in Spanaway ( 16003 Pacific) on the way home....AND, guess who's playing there every Thursday?.....It's JERRY MILLER, yeah, you know THAT JERRY MILLER....from 'MOBY GRAPE' way back in the 60's in Haight-Ashberry San Francisco....you remember now, I knew you would. Well, Jerry and Steve have played together many times before ( Jerry loves to tell about the last time they were together....they got kicked outta the club for , as Jerry said last night 'we were good...we was playing jazz' (pause)... then he shines a big grin. Now, Jerry can play ANYTHING, he's an amazing guitarist...ERIC CLAPTON has said this about Jerry Miller....' the best guitarist in the world'...O.K. now That's really good. isn't it? Yep, yesterday wasn't sure an amazing day for music and everything else for us. Jan
