BARTLETT Rehearsing, by J.Rose-Bartlett cc |
This was the first time I'd been @ the R & R Lounge and...I had a great time. Address: 7824 River Road in Puyallup.. The folks there were friendly and enjoying themselves last night...several of them had brought their axe's and joined in. There's a big dance floor, lotsa parking, easy axcess for everyone on their own wheels and large bathrooms too.....cool. I'll be there next Friday night for sure.
Just one tiny-weeny drawback...We got home at...I'm guessing now, after 3 am in the morning...we didn't want to stop ....just too much fun. So,.I'm very sleepy today AND, look forward to having a big nap this afternoon [I like that]....AND, I guess that's all MY fault isn'tt?...and, so next week I 'll plan alittle better...maybe.
Today, we're 'working up' tunes for upcoming stuff....I keep asking...'Steve, what s that tune, you know,,,THAT one, you remember' then, I find it on YOUTUBE, Steve listens online with headphones on...well, we both have headphones on, warm popcorn and some cold sodas
It's amazing..... Steve's not only doing the bassline...with the upright...then the electric, but vocals and switches back and forth to the electric guitar for the songs and writes down notes....WOW...Prooving, once again that all musicians are plain geniuses!....Yawn, Jan...'Good Night'
