UPCOMING Events: 'STRANGE PLEASURE', SASS,and Cool Jamming

Tonight's the night....Friday, Oct. 23rd, for JOSEPH PLEMMONs group....'Strange Pleasure' hosting a jam in Puyallup [R & R LOUNGE....[7824 River Road] with Steve BARTLETT ON BASS.  WOW. This'll be fun. Steve will be filling in for the regular bass guy this week....thank you so much Starts at 8...bring your axe, join in O.K?
Now, tomorrow, Saturday, October 24th, you don't want to miss....SASS @ DAWSONs in Tacoma... [ 5443 South Tacoma Way], that amazing BLUZZZ band with SHELLY ELY on main vocals....but, the whole band sings...yes, but, Shelly's the, vocalist extreme.....with that a powerful voice....I just love it AND, she tells it like it is too....kinda 'sassy'. It's alotta fun...No one ever knows what she'll say next. She even seems a bit surprised herself. My hubby, Steve BARTLETT's ON BASS/vocals, with that very cool singer/song writer STEVE MERRIAM on guitar and vocals.....with ANDRE THOMAS/drums/vocals roud up their SASS funky blues sound with great vocals just everywhere. SASS starts at 6 pm....Wait a minute.....I've been mis---informed...that's 9 pm...
Next Monday night, Oct 26th,.. KEVIN CHRISTENSEN/drums is starting a jam night at UNCLE SAMs [16003 Pacific] in Spanaway, WA. [. We've known Kevin forever....so, Steve BARTLETT ON BASS will be there...on bass, of course. Last Monday, he brought his Upright as well as electric bass....ready for anything. It was a cool jam. ALL kinds of music and musicians...all levels. BUT, the highlight for me [Jan]....was the very cool jazz, with Steve on the Upright, DENNY FOREMAN/jazz guitarist/ vocals and yes, Kevin on drums....Kevin even sang last week....he has a cool voice too. Never knew that 'bout Kevy all the years that I've known him...he just kept quiet in the back on those drums...well, not exactly quiet....there was dancin', spinning those drum sticks around, you know like the leader with his batons in front of the marching band...but, now what?....huh? well, no more...the cat's outta the bag now. How we gonna shut his up?....looks like he kinda liked it. SMILE,....cool.Bring your instrument and talent O.K? This starts at 7 pm. Jan
