'Just 'round,,,that's all....doing lotsa stuff.....'ah' [pause]. Kinda mysterious and all,....I ,,,ah,,,I had a vacation....O.K?....needed it anyway.'
Today,Steve and I are workin up some cool tunes...you know...the first of we have THE FOUR TOPS and HERE, doin' 'Ain't No Woman Like the One I Got'.....of course Steve's dedicating it to ME....cool. Thanks Sweetheart. So, I'll look up stuff 'bout The Four Tops and post it here. O.K? ...UPDATED: The Four Tops were from Detroit, part of that motown sound of the '60's. They performed together for four decades, with a forced change in their lineup when original member Lawrence Payton died in 1998. the group continued as THE TOPS after that...but not for long...and recruited a new member from the group THE TEMPYATIONS....Theo Peoples. As of 2014 Abdul "Duke" Fakir was the oly original member alive.
Next, we're working up some AL GREEN and THE TEMPTATIONS, THE COMMADORES, WILD CHERRY, JOHNNY TAYLOR BOB MARLEY,and HERE,and LARRY GRAHAM and HERE to name a few. I'll post video links below. O.K? Enjoy.
