Today's a rehearsal day for....you know, SASS. That awesome BLUZZZy-funky-rocky band's getting together today and working up lottsa tunes. Boy, am I lucky....'cause I get to be right in the middle of it all....music'll be coming out my ears....just like I love it'.
Next Saturday's a BIG day for SASS. Not only is it the 4th of July, but, SASSs in the finales and performing at  THE FREEDOM FESTIVAL AND AIR SHOW at DUKES CHOWDER HOUSE on the waterfront in Tacoma. The winner goes to Memphis. All put on by THE SOUTH SOUND BLUES ASSOCIATION. Members of SASS are ,....you know that BLUZZZ queen of our known universe SHELLY ELY/vocals, STEVE MERRIAM/guitar/vocals/song writer extrodinaire [spell?...you know....really good], ANDRE THOMAS/drums/vocals and STEVE BARTLETT/bass/vocals.
Yea...it's been hot the last few days....AND, it's gonna get a lot hotter today with SASS doing their thing. Get ready. Sweating alittle, but always cool and lady-like, you'd never notice....really.. Jan
