O.K., Feelin' the blues?...or BLUZZZ? Well, SONIA DADA is a group outta Chicago who do THE BLUZZZ. Enjoy their sound.  So, if you feel 'bluzzz-y' or want to be bluzzz-y listen to this group will ya? Blues in NO time at all. Music will change moods, so listen with that in mind. BARTLETT's working up some blues today....so, that means me too.
Get ready to hear it like it is in Chicago according to Sonia Dada.
O.K., SONIA DADA and HERE are as I said before, are from Chicago They've been around since 1990.
 Well, anyway,...they call themselves a 'Barefoot Soul' band, Wikipedia calls the band a Rock, Soul and R& B group . Whatever they're called..., now...they're one pf my very favorite bands around. I love lotsa their songs. So, I'm gonna post some below this post. Of course, BARTLETT loves them too.
There are lotsa folks in the band, Sonia Dada, and the band varies from 6 to 9 folks onstage performing at any one time. No matter who's up there from what I see...'I'm never disappointed. Always entertaining and wonderful. They sing songs that are outta the box. Just MY cup of tea.
Sad to see that the band is 'off-tour'.also photo credit..NO Tour Dates coming up. I'd love to see them live. AND, hoping I don't havta go to Chicago to see them.
Their very first album came out in 1992 and was just called 'Sonia Dada. The hit called ' Lover,You Don't Treat Me No Good' [thanks Sonia Dada] got them noticed in a big way, and it sold over 100,000 copies. What a amazing start. Thanks Sonia Dada. Jan
