WOW....STEVE MERRIAM/guitar/vocals of SASS announces today ]Yeah!]. That the cool BLUZZZ Rock band, SASS, with the couragous injured and quickly recovering BLUZZZ QUEEN of the known universe MS. SHELLY ELY at the helm will be at UNCLE THURM's SOUL FOOD this Friday the 9th of January. Let's say, starting 'round 7:30 pm, finishing about 9:30 pm, I'd say...O.K?
We went to UNCLE THURM's yesterday for lunch....I'm just saying their food is wonderful AND I want to go there as often as I can.
You know, last time we were there, Steve brought home one of those BIG desserts that are up front near the cash register, that are all ready to take home with you 'cause that's the right thing to do, and believe me when I say 'you'll be SO glad you did....Yum...what is this? I'd never tasted anything like it....so, yesterday I wanted to know and get more, AND we were at Thurm's and everything. Well, that amazing cook, Mrs. Thurm said THAT desserr was her 'SWEET POTATO CAKE' . She only makes it on special occasions. 'Oh,  P-L-E-A-S-E Mrs. Thurm make THAT cake again this Friday night',.or give ME the recipe, AND, I'll make it.  Let's ALL ask for it. O.K?
So, it's more SASS this Friday evening with some amazing soul food at Uncle Thurm's. How can we miss any of it? It'll be fun and tasty. I'll be there, of course.
