Mr. Johnson and Steve, see photo info. by J.Rose-Bartlett cc |
How could any dog replace our Mr. Johnson. He loved singing with Steve. BUT, to our delight, Daisy May soon fit right in our home and was renamed Mrs. Johnson. She loved to eat....just like Mr. Johnson, who's full name was 'Randy Johnson' 'cause he was fast at the plate.
Now, Daisy May was treated cruely before she came to us....and didn't have food all the time. Well, we kept that in mind and let her EAT all she wanted She loves to lick her plate...puts both paws on it and cleans every speck, so now that's her job, She sure is good at it....'Good Dog Daisy'.' Thank you Daisy, Thanks for letting us live with you'. Jan and Steve

Now, here's that video that sparked my story....called 'Pete the Monkey Washing the Dishes' [thanks ]. This is what the video page says: " Uploaded on Dec 11, 2009
Meet Pete the Monkey. Pete was not trained to do this. The film was made in a monkey sanctuary in Bolivia where I was volunteering, and I was just lucky enough to have a camera on me when he started copying exactly what I had been doing (I wasn't so lucky later on when Pete took my camera and started eating it)!
To support more monkeys like Pete we launched a festival in 2012, on the French coast of Normandy. The festival runs annually every July, with all proceeds going to support the monkey sanctuary where Pete lives.
To be part of what we do, whether your an animal activist, music enthusiast, technical wizard, artist or set builder, please get in touch! We want to hear from you!
