I always thought Jho was easy to talk to, calm and he made everyone relax and be at ease. AND, when he played that guitar....he was so right on and he had everyone's total attention. There were times when Steve had the honor to play a gig with Blenis he knew it would always be a great night.
SHELLY ELY/vocals played with Jho in the band 'BIG NASTY' since 1995, says PACIIC NORTHWEST BANDS. She told me she knew him since the age 11. He and other members o Big Nasty had been in other bands over the years. BUT, 'Big Nasty' was still making it happen, until recently, Shelly loved him and his Jan so....she had talked about him many times in the past weeks with such sadness in her voice and eyes. I understand. and would silently sent Jho, and the ones close to him my prayers. Wishing I could do so much more to help.
I remember that Jho and TERRY JAE/bass both played at the opening day or LIQUID SOUL in McKenna, WA., way back in the spring o 2007. MARTIN SALINAS/guitar/vocals , owner oE Liquid Soul sat in at the very end...it was a wonderEul night.
Bye Jho, Love, Jan and Steve

I appreciate the memories of Jho. Thinking of him today, a rainy day like he liked. When I was young he was like the big brother I never had. I still find myself saying things the way he would...and I smile.
