Just a quick reminder that "The Jazz Collective" featuring Michael Jaap (keyboards) and Randall Wallace (guitar) and guest drummers, host's a jam session every Thursday night at La Fondita's Restaurant, 2620 North Proctor St., music starts at 7:15pm and ends around 10:15pmish...bring some tune ideas, eat salsa and chips, grab a dinner, and/or libation, and jam with "The Jazz Collective".
-Also, Alive and Well featuring Kurt Kolstad (drums), Mike Jaap (keys), Rick Houle (bass & guitar), and Jim "Greasy" Pribbenow (greasy sax extraordinair) PLUS the "Harbor Horns" featuring Sheryl Clark & Steve Serandos on saxes, with Jeff Mason on trombone/harp, -is playing at Roberts 99th Street Restaurant & Lounge, -on the corner of 99th and Pacific Ave. This is the old "Sea Galley Restaurant" and Robert, the owner, is featuring a wonderful steak and seafood menu, reminiscent of the old Sea Galley food fare.
